After crossing the finish line, it is a short walk to
McCann Stadium at the Fairgrounds for a final "fit to continue" vetcheck and
the finishers' victory lap. For those who have reserved space ahead (through
the WSTF Office) their horse's box stall or covered paddock is also close by at the
Fairgrounds.
On Sunday, after the finish of the Ride, Haggin Cup (Top
Ten) judging begins in the Stadium at 10:00 AM. The Awards Banquet begins at
1:00 PM in the Farrel Wrenn Park area of the grounds, followed by the Awards
Ceremony at 2:00 PM. Vendors of endurance tack and Tevis memorabilia have their
booths set up on the main lawn area near the gazebo and in the Banquet
area.
Automobile and rig parking is available in the High Street
parking lot, just inside the grounds on the left when entering via the Main
Gate from High Street. Parking for trailer rigs is also available in the meadow
beside Pleasant Street, across the canal from the Finish Line area. Sorry,
horses are NOT allowed in the Sacramento Street parking lot.
